Our family lost our PD several months ago due to cancer. Bert was 7 years old. We are now ready to share our home with another one. We miss the Jump Yippies and the joy a PD brings to our houshold. We have called several places and can not find one. If anyone knows where we might find a baby or a very young PD please let us know. Thanks.

If you're still looking check out some of my recent posts in regards to those looking for PDS. There are some in N.TX for $50.00.

Hi Stacey,
It looks like you are in NC. I am too. I looked on the "Hoobly" website under "pet & animals", then "exotic pets", then typed in Prairie Dog. There seems to be PDs for sale in Winston Salem as well as Kernersville. I've not dealt with them but came across the web site while I was looking for a PD

Hey jst replying about you looking for a pd. My friend has a little boy who is almost 14 weeks old that she is trying to find a wonderful home for. I have his siser and a 1yr old and feel like it would not be fair to my 1 yr old to take him myself. Not to mention when they are out of their cage they go separate directions into everything so I don:t think I can handle another. But I'm so worried he won't get a good home. She is planning to take him to a show on Saturday to sale.So if you are still looking let me know or if you know of someone. We are in NC also.My cell # is 828-553-1544

I have my hands full with 14 week PD named Sookie that keeps me on my Toes. She is a hand full. Never stops. I do not know if she would even bond with another PD. She still has not fully bonded with us yet. One minute she cuddles and the next she is on her hind legs in the upright position attacking my hands playing and rolling around doing what little PD's do. But they can play rough. I hope after I get her fixed she will calm down a little bit. She is a cutie! What type of show is your friend taking the PD to and how much is he asking for the little guy just in case I think of someone to ask. I will also ask around and see if I know anyone that would be interested in him.I hope you can find him a good home. I worry when I see them for sale. It can be a bad situation for everyone if they go into a home that is not educated in PD behavior.

I am in CT and I'm going to FL to get a PD the last week of July. I'm not sure if this is the same person I just emailed. I'm getting one from www.Mrpetmansupercenter.com. If you'd like me to get one for you and you're in CT or are pretty close, then shoot me an email and we'll discuss. OK? Thanks! Gibsonlp2@juno.com is my email. Renee

Where in Canada are you moving too? We aer interested in taking your PD to join the 2 we already have. We live in the Seattle area but would travel to meet depending on where you are crossing the boarder.
