Prairie Dog Lover's Burrow

Is there anyone else on here thats from NY?  I'm trying to make some friends around here so we can start a group and have meetings and such in the Syracuse area. I'd love to meet others from my area with Prairie Dogs. Want to make friends with ANY Prairie Dog owner!

Hi, my fiance and I are in NY. We are interested in finding vets that will take care of prairie dogs, do you know of any in the Syr or north of Syr area?We are looking for a rescue center or for someone to possibly take our prairie dog, he is about a year and a half old, if you are interested please or know anyone that may be let me know.Amber

I am from Connecticut.  I've had two (2) prairie dogs.  I lost my second one about a year ago and have been searching for another one.  My Fred was my best friend and I'm lost without him.  Does anyone know where I can get another pup?  Connecticut has a ban on them because, as they say "They can live in the cold and procreate".  I said that Fred was neutered and couldn't reproduce.  They don't care.  Someone please help me find another one.  Thank you!

Is your prairie dog friendly?  My vet treats them in CT.  I am definitely looking for another one.  Is he neutered?  Let me know.  I'd love to have him.
