Prairie Dog Lover's Burrow

I'm Sara from Italy. First of all,please excuse me for my English.

I've read that somebody aged the praire dogs by the consumption of their teeth.

Here in Italy someone says that it's possible to say if the pd is old by observing his torax-rx . If there is a curl in the ribs the prairie dog is old, over 7 years... is that true ?

I have not heard of either of these observations aiding in determining the age of a prairie dog.
