About Me

My husand and I are proud owners of 2 lovely prairie dogs, their names are Polymnia and Pearl. Polymnia passed away last week and is now waiting for us in heaven. I actually joined here hoping to find some advice on what to do with Pearl, she certainly seems affected by Polymnia's passing and I would love to be with her all the time but I simply can't and I'm sure I could never replace Polymnia.

my name is April, I am a 32 year old mother of 1 little beautiful girl who is now 4, I am engaged to the most perfect man on earth, whom I love with everything in me, and now, we have a new addation to our happy home,her name is Penny, we think she is about 8 weeks old, and its been nothing but laughs and smiles since we bought her from our local pet shop, we are still learning about her, as she is with us. but for the most part, its been a very joyful experience to have her in our lives... Hello Everybody,

I am not sure if I am filling this out right but I need help. I have a female Prairie Dog. Her name is Fiona. I also have a four month old baby girl. Although Fiona has never hurt my husband, daughter, or I, she has hurt others around us. My daughter is almost to the point where she is going to be crawling soon. Although it breaks my heart and I have shed many tears over this..... My husband and I have agreed that we need to find Fiona a new home. I want it understood that we love Fiona with all of our heart and soul but we have to do what is best for Fiona and for us. We are unable to spend the time with Fiona that we feel she deserves. I am hoping that somebody would be willing to take Fiona and provide her with a new and loving home that provides lots of attention. I am hoping that this person is very knowledgeable when it comes to prairie dogs and is willing to give Fiona a chance. She truly is a sweet Prairie Dog to my husband, daughter, and I but I cannot take the chance that Fiona will hurt our daughter. If anybody is interested in Fiona please contact me. Thank you. PS. My name is Jamie. Im 26 years old and I just purchased a PD as a pet. Im on here to hopefully to get good advice and maybe hopefully some day i can dish out some good advice as well. My PD's name is Bob the Prairie Dog or Bob for short lol. He is 8 weeks old and look forward to having him for a long time. After i get used to this im gonna get another one.
